Engineering Foundation of Wisconsin These scholarships are available to graduating high school seniors who plan to study engineering at a four year ABET accredited program leading to a bachelor's degree in engineering. Each applicant will be considered for all of the following scholarships: The Engineering Foundation of Wisconsin Scholarship 4 Scholarships, of $2,000 each; The WSPE Past Presidents Scholarship, 1 Scholarship of $2,000; The Behling Scholarship,2 Scholarships of $2,000 each; The Louis C Geiger Scholarship, 3 Scholarships of $2,000 each; The Yu-Hwa Terry Ni FREE Program, 1 or 2 Scholarships totaling $2,000; The Charles H Bennett Memorial Scholarship, Established and administered by the WSPE Fox River Valley chapter may be awarded. WITC Scholarships The WITC Foundation presents more than $200,000 to nearly 500 students each year. Students are awarded scholarships based on their academic achievement, skills, career goals and financial need. Deadline Monday, November 4, 2019.
Ashland's Technology Future Scholarship The eligibility requirements are: You are an Ashland High School student or a high school student in the Ashland School District graduating before Summer 2020; and You plan to attend a post-secondary education program that is technology related in Fall 2020. The Scholarship Selection Committee within Ashland's Technology Future will review all submissions and determine three winners. A first place winner will be awarded a $1000 scholarship, and two runners up will each receive $500 scholarships. The scholarship application will become available September 1, 2019 and all applications will be due January 15, 2020.
Herb Kohl Excellence Scholarship Any graduating high school student who intends to enroll in a postsecondary institution, university, college, or vocational/technical college. Students who are Wisconsin residents, in good standing, and demonstrate probable success in postsecondary education are eligible for consideration. They will be evaluated on leadership, citizenship, school and community involvement, and academic achievement and on their future educational goals, personal life goals, community/society service goals, and career goals. Jack Kent Cooke The Jack Kent Cooke Foundation College Scholarship Program is an undergraduate scholarship program available to high-achieving high school seniors with financial need who seek to attend the nation’s best four-year colleges and universities. Elks Most Valuable Student Scholarship Applicants will be judged on scholarship, leadership, and financial need. Hagen Scholarship Foundation Nationwide, need based merit scholarship for high achieving students who will require financial assistance in order to attend college. Must graduate from a high school in a county with less than 50,000 residents. 350 available per year. Deadline November 15, 2019Awards will be given to an applicant that has maintained an academic average of "B" or better for a period of seven high school semesters. The applicant also must: Be able to meet the specific entrance requirements of the chosen learning institution & complete and submit supporting documents such as: transcript of grades, four recommendation forms, and your ACT score. The following factors shall be considered by the judges when deciding the relative merit of the applicant:
- Moral Character - Devotion to the American way of life and its institutions, and applicant's seriousness of purpose.
- Scholastic excellence of the applicant
- Participation and accomplishment in American Legion affiliated activities

WITC Promise Scholarship The WITC Promise Scholarship provides free college tuition for area high school graduates who meet program eligibility requirements. The WITC Promise Scholarship will pay the balance of tuition and fees for eligible students after federal grants, state grants and WITC Foundation Scholarships are applied. Tuition will be covered up to four terms (pending eligibility requirements each term). Applicants must achieve minimum 2.0 GPA for senior year in high school Deadline April 20, 2020
Tip Grant The TIP grant aids low-income and disadvantaged Wisconsin students with additional college funding to help reduce the student’s amount of loan, work-study, or unmet need. Students must be attending at least part time. Students must be a first-time freshman. Students must be attending a public or private Wisconsin college or university. A student must meet one criteria from Group A based on financial need and one criteria from Group B based on nontraditional/ disadvantaged circumstances. The TIP grant can be renewed for up to ten semesters of enrollment and must be used within six years of enrollment at a public, private, or technical college or university in Wisconsin. PFLAG Scholarship 2019 Two $500 scholarships for Ashland or Bayfield County high school seniors who have contributed to their community in the area of equality for all people, though initiatives related to lesbian, gay, bisexual and/or transgender (LGBT) advocacy, support and/or education is preferred. 2019 Design for the Future Scholarship Each spring, SDS Architects of Eau Claire awards two college scholarships to area graduates who are seeking to further their education in fine arts, interior design, or architecture. The scholarship is open to applicants from Ashland High School, Bloomer High School, Cashton High School, Colfax High School, Durand High School, Elcho High School, Elk Mound High School, Frederic High School, Lac Du Flambeau Public School, Menomonie High School, and Spring Valley High School. An online application is requested as well as submission of a portfolio. The winners are carefully chosen based upon the content and professionalism of their individual applications. 2019 Bad River Student Scholarship Two $500 scholarships for Bad River High School seniors seeking post-secondary education. Must be enrolled members of Bad River band and accepted to a post-secondary institution for the 2019-2020 academic year. Deadline April 31, 2019
GSAFE 2019 Youth Scholarship The GSAFE Youth Scholarship awards up to four high school seniors $1000 each. The recipients of these awards will have demonstrated a commitment to promoting just and respectful schools for all, with an emphasis on lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, and questioning students and issues (LGBTQ+). This scholarship is open to all Wisconsin high school seniors, regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity/expression. We especially encourage youth of color and trans youth to apply. Wisconsin Education Association Council High school seniors who are planning to go into the field of education and whose parent(s) are a WEAC member, a WEAC retired member or who died while holding a WEAC membership are eligible to apply. In addition, the student must rank in the top 25% of his/her class or have achieved a 3.0 cumulative grade point average at the time of application, plan to pursue an education major or minor and intend to teach in Wisconsin. Northwoods Community Credit Military Scholarship Any student who has committed to a branch of the US Military immediately following high school graduation. Verification by military recruiter or high school official is required. Entrance into the military by 12/31/19 is required. You, your parent, or legal guardian must be a Prime Member for at least one year and be in good standing. Additional consideration will be given if the student applicant is a member of the credit union. Application is open between May 1 and December 31st.

Your parent/guardian (employee) must be currently employed at the time of your application and have been employed for the full calendar year prior to the year of your graduating. Cobell Scholarship Both Merit-based and Need-based, the competitive scholarship is annual, non-renewable, and available to any post-secondary student who is; an enrolled member of a US Federally-Recognized Tribe, enrolled in full-time study and is degree-seeking. Applicants must plan to attend or be attending any nationally, regionally and industry accredited non-profit, public and private, institution.
