• Boys and Girls Cross Country

Cross Country running is an exciting sport where runners compete on a course over open or rough terrain. The course may include grass, mud, woodlands, and/or trails. This is a sport that tests each athlete's strength, endurance and mental toughness. High School boys and girls  run 5 kilometers or about 3.1 miles.  A team consists of 5-7 runners and team scores are determined by adding up the finishing places of each team's top 5 runners.
