The purpose of W.A.T.E.R.S. Club is to provide educational opportunities outside of the classroom for those interested in sustainability, peace, leadership, and global issues. The club also provides the opportunity to meet with other AHS students and faculty interested in improving our community, nobel peace laureates, as well as getting involved and/or learning about international topics.

W.AT.E.R.S. participates in organizing speakers, beach clean up events, the district compost program, fundraisers, invasive species removal, school forest trail work, stormwater education and cultural dinners.
