In an effort to support American Indian students, the School District of Ashland collaborates with the Bad River Tribe's Education Department on an ongoing basis throughout the school year. In addition, the District and the Tribe collaborate on the American Indian Policies and Procedures (AIPP) document that is presented to the public through a Public Forum listening session held on the reservation (October/November) and then presented to the Board of Education and the Tribe for approval (November/December). In turn, the American Indian Policies and Procedures (AIPP) document is submitted to the US Department of Education - Impact Aid Program (January).
